Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for being the lead manager on projects both locally and regionally. In addition, the Project Manager plays a major role in establishing project teams and leading them to project completion and closeout.

Managerial ability. Strong leadership skills to create a building vision and roadmap and effectively manage the changes necessary to build upon the reputation for industry leadership in project management.

Planning and organizing. Skilled in project management techniques to be able to create and effectively communicate project priorities and the inevitable changes, and have good organization skills to assure that the right people are in the right places to achieve success. (Metrics)

Flexible and adaptable to change. Capable of adjusting to changing situations very quickly. Must be able to see ahead, understand needed changes and then be willing to take initiative to adapt.

Tenacity and commitment to tasks. Able to identify the important priorities that must get accomplished and see them through with minimal supervision.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead project manager on projects up to $10 M both locally and regionally.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager
  • Manage projects in accordance with Williams Building Company’s objectives in safety performance, customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Lead by example and embrace “Williams’ core values and mission by assuring that all those associated with managed projects behave in a way consistent with the culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: 4-year degree preferred; advanced degree desired.
  • Experience: 10 or more years of experience in increasingly responsible project management with a proven track record of results

Position Details

  • This position reports to the Senior Project Manager and President of the company.
