| Project Description | Complete design/build services for the new construction of this border crossing facility at the last remaining government licensed hand operated ferry anywhere on the U.S. border at the historic Ebanos Crossing. The ferry is privately owned and received a state historical marker in 1975. Built with CMU masonry construction, the structure will become the new LPOE on The Rio Grande River in Los Ebanos, Texas. The building is approximately 6,000 square feet in size and has the following unique features such as deep foundation, piles driven to bedrock, complete ballistic building envelope including walls, windows, and doors structural insulated panels (SIPs) for the roof enclosure 36 kW solar PV array for electrical generation.
